Sweet!!! You know Renae-if you get a chance, I'd love to see a shot of the antenna farm LOL I am thinking Dave has more than one!!! Actually we only have three antennas right now, the 2 meter , the 160 and the 6 BTV Vertical. ( he is working on an antenna for AM he has it done but not up yet). I had these pictures saved when it gets light out I will see if I can get better pictures. It wont be light out until after 7:00a.m. This is the antenna he made the 17 meter mod to it that is why you just see the bottom half of the antenna You can see the 2 meter antenna top of the chimney the 1/4 wave reduced sized 160 inverted L he made, You can see going to the left across the top of the roof and on the right it angles down all the way to the back of our yard. You can't tell in the photos but the wire is grey so it blends with the sky and not really noticeable

He uses the inverted L for 160 meters. everything else on HF he uses the Vertical. He made an antenna for AM but it is not up yet, since it is winter and has been either cold, icy or gusty.

Is that a Coax wound current balun on the wire Renae.... I believe so but I am not 100% sure Dave made the 160 antenna , he did the 17 meter mod on the vertical, I pay no attention to what he is doing just avoid having to "help" and wait for everything to be operational I am bad that way I know... we have top soil around the base and I plant flowers in there in the spring , somewhere I have a photo of that. ;D

It's not that easy here either, I make sure all our trees, bushes and plants are watered, it is hard to keep the lawn nice we have summer watering restrictions
