High winds have just hit Blackpool as I type and I've been monitoring the Cobwebb omni directional full size half wave dipole mounted on a 22' scaffolding pole at approximately 42' for about half an hour. Although their is movement in both the pole and the antenna, I'm hoping it will survive! Mind you if it can survive 160 mph gales in the South Atlantic, the Falklands, it should survive the North Sea westerly winds.
Anyone else noticed the winds or antenna problems this afternoon?

Hi Ian, It was very very windy here too last night. Den went out checking on the Cobwebb and the Tri-bander two or three times last night but thankfully all was well and the winds were having little effect on moving either..Definately a relief
