For those of you who do DX , do you use any particluar DX cluster? or do you just scan around? Sometimes I used DX summit, usually I just scan around and listen then I pull up DX summit. (I a Little backward )

Usually i just tune around the bands and see what's happening, i do have my favourite bands which are 17mtrs and 20 mtrs, i tend to think 40mtrs is remeniscent of a zoo . Of all the bands although it tends to suffer from qsb i think 17mtrs (when it's open) is the best. Anybody agree, disagree? 73's de Den.

I usually scan around 20 meters and 17 meters during the day after it gets dark I scan around on 80 meters.
I dont really go on 40 meters.
i also agree that 17 meters is good for DX when the band is open and propegation is good.

Yep I like 17mtrs, 20mtrs and even 40mtrs Had quite a few of my contacts on 40mtrs. Ok I agree Den that 40mtrs can be very active with stations seeming to crawl over one another but quite often you get stations strong enough to pull out and actually have a good contact with.
