Thank you very much for posting those calling channels Martin. I for one found it very interesting reading what channels are what on Fm and Am. Didn't realise that there was a calling channel on 80 mtr AM. Thanks again, much appreciated.

Excellent idea. Just a couple of things, shouldn't it be QRP rather than a west london football team? 10fm calling is 29.600, which is the mainstay for fm on HF. cheers, Andy

Yes your right with QRP my mistake, but AS far as the QRP calling channel goes the one quoted is correct I could add the FM VHF MF frequencies in as well if you would all like...

Oh no, don't get me wrong, I wasn't disputing the am call frequency on 10 ...in fact well done for finding these nostalgic am call frequencies. Just that 10fm calling is quite an important one and should be included...albeit it is a very well known one. I see you've edited it all now, and it's looking good. cheers Andy

hehe I am darn quick or is it that out of all the freqs I have the air is DEAD, I am currently scanning 70cm, 2m, 4m, 6m, 10m and there is nobody on apart from M0XLT and M3XLG on 2m I have a suspicion that many users round here prefer SSB which I don't have still one day..

To be fair, outside of some pretty decent propagation, you'll be lucky to hear anything below 2m on any mode down to about 15m. Most of these bands are totally dead until the conditions are right. A bit of local stuff on 2m ssb is a real highlight cheers, Andy

A few of the local stations normally go on there and I am surprised to hear that 4 has been quiet for a while with not being connected up haven't had a listen.
