Yes I discovered that my Diamond discone antenna does quite a job pulling in clean reliable signals on SW! This is Andrews AFB doing a roll call-I get it regularly from all the way across the continent!

Looks like you have your station up to scratch now,...some good stuff being received... 20m has been open over the past few evenings or should I say early mornings this way had some good contacts over the pond.

LOL sorry I stopped looking here-WASSUP Martin!! Yeah I am in the zone out here. Hey Renae-this antenna gets clean reliable sigs for sure. Would you believe guys on another site gave me hell because I claimed this thing was doing the job? They said it was the line doing the job or the whole thing etc-so I made a series of videos proving its performance! I even called Diamond and spoke to the engineer who designed this discone! He said the military has contracts with Diamond for HF use with the discone!

I know its no big deal but that first video with Andrews on SSB was off my 4-element yagi (sorry) but THIS one is off the discone. As you can see it pulls real strong-that transmission was all the way from the Mediterranean!
