I've got myself into researching weather stations I fancy one for the QTH but a Grand is a little much for a fully fledged one like I'd like

I've been promising myself a Davis weather station for 10yrs now ... never quite pulled the trigger though. I've had The Oregon scientific ones (main system + seperate units) but they just don't seem to be up to it in terms of longevity. I get the feeling that if you do buy a Davis, then it will last. cheers, Andy

I was toying with the idea myself, but they are raqther pricey. Andy, congrats on the M0 callsign, you kept that one quiet ;D.

Thanks, I did the IL in late October (found it ridiculously easy but the practical was enjoyable) and took the advanced exam in december, and found that far less daunting than I imagined a few months ago but at least I found out what some of those buttons on a scientific calculator are for ;D 73 Andy
