Well at last I have got the mast up in total all 25' in length 7' off the ground, if doesn't reach above the apex of the roof unfortunately but its got my quad band vhf, my 4m halo and finally my longwire (all 30m of it) up in a V format, the cabling is into the house tomorrows job is to route the whole cabling mess into the cellar, down two floors and across one FUN, but I will be back on air in a jiffy

all up and running now, I can get a great deal more on VHF than my last QTH I've been able to access repeaters in Ireland, scotland and wales too. Hopefully in a couple of weeks my exam will go well and I will be able to use a little more power and see if I can access TP from here.

TP is a repeater about 70 miles from here
