Yes I suspect that will be the case everywhere, still if you Don't want to talk to someone its a good thing to say oh thats wrong of me isn't it ?

It's just a case that nobody knows the V channels, and I can't see that changing. Even 'S' channels are rarely mentioned, as there's hardly anyone without a frequency display now.
Despite the official directive, there's not enough activity to force the issue of 12.5k channel spacing, nor to get everyone to use narrow deviation fm.

12.5k is definitely needed on digimode on 70cm's though
