I have seen that on the news. How horrible and scary. I am so glad that we don't have earthquakes in our area, that has to be scary!

It is a very sad situation over there. Official reports say 22,000 dead with 11,000 still buried in rubble. My prayers are with all effected.

I will admit that I am hearing that China has opened borders for relief workers, its good to hear that they can accept that the other nations of the world want to help them in their time of need. It really just shocks me that Burma can't do the same.

Hi Martin I agree with you totally, the military government in Burma should open up for help. But it seems to me they are going to keep the relief supplies for themselves, Surely the G7 countries or the U.N. could bring pressure to bear on them.

It was such sad news this earthquake in China and seeing all the news reports on it didn't make it easy to watch. I was so saddened by the amount of young children loosing family members and vice versa. It was not that long ago that I experienced my first earthquake here in the UK but nothing on this China Earthquake scale. My heart goes out to them all.
