a question I've looked for an answer for for a while, People make modules that will transvert 10m to 4m and 6m I wonder if in that case it would be easy enough to build a USB LSB SSB filter transvertor obviously electronically it would be interesting as you'd have to send the signal to another rig, then back again, but still, it may be a cheaper option than buying a whole new shiny SSB set??
Any thoughts

Sorry I couldn't personally answer your query on this one Martin as I am not well up on transverters and the like but perhaps someone else may come along and answer it for you.

There is a simple way to do this,....If you get two radios lets say on medium wave go to a amateur freq and listen for the modulated signal on one of the radios,....then with the other radio at the side of the first one, turn this one on to the same frequency but slightly off from the first one,you can tune the second radio and some where on the second radio you will pick up the ssb signal and make it intelligible. If that makes sence.....both radios must be set to the same volume...

It's amazing what you can do with technology these days isn't it. Thanks for the run down on how to do this Wayne. I would never of known that you could do that if you hadn't have said. 73's, Zo
