UHF=70cms a very underused band in the North West of England.
Most nights the local Blackpool lads hold an evening net. We call on SU20 and then move close to the calling channel to hold the net. Normally the net starts at around 2000 hours and last for about an hour. Callsigns you are likely to hear are Mark 2E0BDM, Jim 2E1EER, John G1VGF, Steve 6AOS, myself 2E0EDX and others.
We are a freindly bunch with topics discussed ranging from amateur radio, fishing, sailing, metal detecting through to the news of the day, infact, any topic can be discussed and is.
If any member would wish to join us on the nightly net, you are more than welcome to do so, just shout 'break' with your callsign at the end of an over and whoever has the mike will call you in.
Look forward to meeting one and all on air.................
