OK looking at my bandplan, i have allocations for the 10000mhz to 10500mhz which I had to look up its not 23cm its satellite tv can anyone shed any light on why we need that frequency when 23cm would be more useful? In fact my band plan doesn't even tally with the RSGB specs what are ofcom doing?

Are we primary users or secondary Martin? I am not sure to be honest about this one without looking it up so will do so when I have some spare time. Got accounts to sort this week and something else so will have a look when I can.

I've emailed both ofcom and RSGB about it and lets see what happens from there, otherwise at 1w I will be on similar frequencies to ASTRA and the other sky satelites

Oops could be interesting if you were somewhere where you are not supposed to be putting out 1W just imagine the level of interference that would be.... Not! Lol. Hope it is a positive response for you from RSGB n Ofcom
