Purchased this car wheel support mount recently. This is a strong rugged unit designed to take a 2 inch mast that fits over the sleeve of the upright portion of the support. Just drive the car wheel onto the support and I should get a firm support for the mast and antenna. Hopefully, this will support the 21 foot mast that I already have and I hope to try out the 9 element Tonna using this support from the car at elevation soon. When I do, I will take the digital camera and post the photos in this thread. I wonder what other use to support both their masts and antennas while activating static mobile?

Hi, That looks a good support, i have a mate who is a metal fabricator and welder he is going to make us a drive on plate. Currently we just use a SOTA pole with the 3 ele beam for 2 mtrs, but we will be needing a good support as we hope tro be working portable in July from the Orkney islands.
