Although I haven't experienced very very cold conditions such as -30C I have experienced the heat at 108@(40C) in Egypt twice and that is very hot. Thats when I knew I prefered the cold to the heat as it were.

I don't recall what the hotest temperature hear was I know it gets over 100 and maybe the hotest was 105 - 106 somewhere around there we always get days in the 90's (32C)and usually at least one day hits 100 or close to it I know here in Arizona that it is between 100(37C) and up to 115(46C) regularly even as hot as 120(48)I don't care if they say " But it's a Dry heat" or not hot is hot!

Hi Everyone, Well it's been a fair while since this post was up at the top so here is a bump! Now that we are into February 08 it will be interesting to see how the weather fares this year we have recently had a cold spot but that now seems to have shifted away to allow the odd sunny day. Can only be good for radio and yesterday there was a hive of activity on 2 mtrs with regards the SOTA activators etc. I am wondering how much more cold weather if any we are in for yet. Wonder what you folks think. Zo ~ 2E0ZLD

Our weather has been crazy! drastic swings a few weeks ago we hit 65/18Cdegrees( very unusual for this time of year) the next day the temperature was 5 /-15C degrees Last weekend we had blizzard conditions high winds blowing snow whit out conditions. Back up to the 40s/4C today it is -4/-20C with high wind gusts 40mph making the wind chill temperatures -30/-34C but come Tuesday supposed to be in the mid 30's/1C

Hi, The weather patterns are definately changing; though i don't blame global warming per se. I think it is a natural cycle, as if you look back in history the climate has changed often and without our help. It makes one wonder, wherewill it stop?

Wow Renae that is certainly crazy weather. A couple of weeks ago we were in for blizzards over a period of two days but all we actually got was a small flurry which melted away the next day. Sunny again today. Possibly until thursday then a possible change but to what I don't know yet. Those white out conditions are something I have not experienced here for many years and am sure that it will happen sooner or later just something to watch with interest.
