Hi Frank, I know what it is like not being able to get around after an operation and can thoroughly sympathise with how you must be feeling right now. When I was 16 many years ago I was in a road accident and fractured my leg in a couple of places. It wouldn't heal and I ended up in plaster on crutches for about a year... couldn't go too far without transport. Then about 7 years ago I had an operation which left me quite poorly for about 6 months but thankfully that is all in the past now and life is much better than it was then. Awe I am so glad that your Rosie enjoys hearing some of the radio stations that you can hear on your shortwave receiver...I try to encourage as many ladies into the hobby as possible and I know that Janine and Renae will too as there are not too many of us. Advanced Course is well on it's way now at the radio club and with any luck Me, Den, Scott, Dave and a couple of others will be M0's in a couple of months or three... 73's for now, Zo

Hi all- Zo that was TOO LONG to suffer that leg!! I hope life has given back to you to make up for it....especially being only 16 then! Hi Janine- we've been married for 22 years now and she's got two boys from her first marriage who are on their own now. I'm a lucky man...she's an angel! P.S. Scott-atta boy for being on your game pal!!!!

Hee hee, Yup it is usually the guy that forgets the days and years that are supposed to be special. Den doesn't get away with it though because having the 6 children there is always someone to remind him of those special days. 25 yrs in October for me and Den being married. To be honest Frank, Life has always been hard for me in one way or another but there is no point in being down about it all the time. Best just to get on the best we can and look forward to the special times when life doesn't seem quiet so bad... Your Lady sounds a very lovely lady and you are lucky to have found her. Hee hee way to go Scott!!

Awe Bless You Guy's Are Wonderful You Know, It's those kind of comments that helps prove life isn't always as bad as we think Thank you both Frank, me and Janine live about 15 miles away from each other. Although I think we both wish at times that we could live a little closer. My car died recently and haven't got the cash at mo to get it repaired with it going to be such a big job. Engine ceased! LOL However it won't be forever and the longest it will be one way or another is 18 months then I can get a new one

You are quite right Janine, 15 miles at times can seem like 1500 miles Frank I also hope that you are on the mend and hope Rose is well. Have a Great Easter Weekend and hope you have something really nice planned. We are having a big meal also on Easter Sunday. Thanks Janine I know you won't eat too many eggs because chocolate isn't your thing so I will say instead don't each too much of anything else you might be tempted to eat way way too much of although I don't see what else you could eat other than chocolate that is what you would call bad for you.... except perhaps crisps/fries. Have a Good Day Everyone. 73's, Zo

Hi Janine-thank you for your thoughts! Yeah it was nice to see Sis..she's the funny one with the catchy laugh, you know? And the little guy LOVES it here-from the easychair in the livingroom to the train and jet simulaters on the computer to rozee's cooking it's a real funzone for him! Plus he loves the ocean! Take care-73s

Awe Bless Frank, Sounds like your little nephew had a really great time with you and Rozee. Wow living near the ocean, I have always wished that I could live near the sea or ocean... We have been to stay up on the Orkney Islands a couple of times and just love it up there with the sea everywhere and the peace and tranquility... now that is just the life Take care for now Frank - 73's

Hey Zo! Thanks and Bless you too-the kid has a thing for the ocean..that's a good thing. Says a lot about him-'specially this day and age you know. Yup you wanna regain a sense of God, spend some time at the shore. The first gift He gives ya is the very peace and tranquility you mentioned! The second gift He imparts is the perspective that your world is teenyweeny in comparison to his world-and he uses that very ocean and all its power to illustrate it! 73s Zo!
